Archaeological Parks of Pompeii and Herculaneum

A journey through time through the wonders of antiquity: the Archaeological Park of Pompeii and the Archaeological Park of Herculaneum, both buried by the eruption of Mount Vesuvius in 79 A.D., offer a unique glimpse into daily life in Roman times. In Pompeii, walk through the streets, houses and public buildings, admire the details of the frescoes, the impressive ruins of the Forum, the theaters and baths. Herculaneum, more collected but equally fascinating, preserves intact mosaics, charred woodwork and structures that tell the story of the lives of its inhabitants with extraordinary accuracy. A short distance from Pompeii's archaeological park you can also visit the Villa Regina and Antiquarium of Boscoreale, a fascinating testament to rural life in ancient Rome, located on the slopes of Mount Vesuvius. This rustic villa, buried by the 79 A.D. eruption, was an agricultural center devoted mainly to wine and oil production. A small adjacent museum enriches the experience with artifacts from other rustic villas in the area. In short, a must-see for those wishing to enrich the visitor experience by discovering the link between history and the fertile Vesuvian land.

Ville d'Otium Villa Dei Misteri, Stabiae and Oplontis

Discover the elegance of the Roman residences of Otium. The Villa of the Mysteries is one of Pompeii's most famous and evocative residences, located along the road leading from Pompeii to Stabiae, the villa owes its name to the frescoes decorating one of the rooms, interpreted as depictions of mystery rites related to the cult of Dionysus. The Villas of Stabia, particularly Villa San Marco and Villa Arianna and the Libero D'Orsi Museum at the nearby town of Castellammare di Stabia are a complex of patrician residences with mosaics, frescoes and gardens reflecting the luxury of the period. Finally, the Villa of Oplontis, in Torre Annunziata, is another archaeological gem, famous for its refined architecture and incredible frescoes.
